Over the last ten years, the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning has built up an enviable reputation in the field of entrepreneurship education, developing and delivering increasingly successful programmes.
1999-2011
- More than 14,000 people have participated in CfEL programmes and events
- Over 190 programmes and events have been completed
- 190+ business ventures created by CfEL alumni
- Over 350 entrepreneurs and practitioners have contributed to CfEL activities
- 16 business plan competitions have been run in conjunction with the Cambridge University Entrepreneurs (CUE)
- Over 60 University of Cambridge Undergraduate and Postgraduate entrepreneurial courses delivered
- 339 videos and 25 podcasts on entrepreneurial topics published on the University SMS, YouTube and iTunes U
- Contributed to the Silicon Valley Comes to Cambridge events 2010 and 2011
- Introduced the Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship in 2011 - the first accredited by the University of Cambridge
- Launched the Cambridge Graduate Business School of the Year Award in conjunction with Business Weekly in 2011
- New book published on the lessons learned over the last 10 years - Unlocking the Enterpriser Inside: The Why, What and How - co-authored by , CfEL Director Dr Shai Vyakarnan and Neal Hartman of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and published by World Scientific Publishing Company in 2011
