Programme Overview
Who is it for?
The Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship is open to all individuals who are either considering embarking on an entrepreneurial career pathway or have taken the first steps of their entrepreneurial journey. This may involve forming a business based around new technology, developing a social enterprise, pursuing an opportunity in the arts or creative media, or taking an innovation forward within a larger or more established organisation. You could be for example:
- An entrepreneurial individual who wishes to advance your ambitions, start or grow a venture
- A mid- to senior-level manager, executive or professional in any industry sector
- A recent graduate or postgraduate who wants to acquire the knowledge, skills and aptitudes to facilitate your move from the academic to business world
- Working in an organisation in the public sector or a university aiming to advance its knowledge in entrepreneurship
Students may apply as individuals or be sponsored by their employer or other organisation.
Students are encouraged to bring their own business ideas with them to the programme, along with a clear ambition and desire to take them forward as an Enterprise Project. This will form a core part of an effective learning experience by providing a clear and meaningful focus for written assessments and presentations.
